This month's speaker Meg Gould's film industry career spans major cities and influential roles. After earning a BA in Radio, Television, and Film Production from Texas Christian University, she worked in Los Angeles on projects like Godzilla, the Academy Awards, and the World Cup. She later joined Walker, Texas Ranger in Dallas before moving into film commission work, eventually becoming Assistant Director of the Dallas Film Commission.

In Dallas, Meg was involved with numerous industry organizations, including the Texas Association of Film Commissions, Dallas Producers Association, Women in Film Dallas, Dallas Film Society, Texas Music Cities, and Texas Media Production Alliance. Her leadership helped transition the Dallas Film Commission into the Dallas Film and Creative Industries Office.

In January 2023, Meg became Executive Director and Film Commissioner of the Tulsa Office of Film, Music, Arts and Culture, where she champions Tulsa as a creative hub. She co-chairs the Fundraising Committee for the Oklahoma Motion Picture Alliance and is a steering board committee for creating the Association of Music Offices national organization. Other industry related memberships include Association of Film Commissioners International, Women in Film, the Recording Academy, Location Managers Guild International and Film USA.

Meg will be sharing with our chapter all the latest projects in the works that are currently taking place in Tulsa as well as many upcoming projects including the filming of Season 2 of Lowdown, the hit FX series shot right here in Tulsa.  Although mum's the word on Season 2, Meg may have a few stories to share from Season 1.
